# koppie > koppie is a clipboard manager (clipboard history app) for macOS. It lives in the menu bar, > remembers what you copy, and ⌘⇧V opens a picker to paste any of it again, several items at > once. It keeps everything on the Mac: no cloud, no account. It costs €1.99, once. koppie's name is always written in lowercase. Website: https://koppie.app/ ## What it does - Records what you copy on your Mac: text (formatting kept, so bold stays bold), pictures, links and files. - ⌘⇧V opens the picker over the app you're in. Space keeps an item, and you can keep several; ↩ puts them on the clipboard in the order you picked them, then ⌘V pastes them all. - Esc, clicking away or ⌘⇧V again cancels, and your clipboard goes back to how it was. - Tabs filter the history by kind: All, Images, Text, Links, Files. - Select an item and press ⌘⌫ to delete it. - It can be put down for a nap from the menu bar, and records nothing until you wake it. ## Privacy - History stays on your Mac, in a folder on your disk. Nothing is sent anywhere: no cloud, no account, no syncing. - Passwords that a password manager marks as secret (concealed) are never recorded. - It asks for the Accessibility permission only to paste words and pictures together. ## Limits - Keeps the last 200 items, for 7 days. - Pictures take up to 200 MB; the oldest go first past that. - The shortcut is ⌘⇧V and can't be changed yet. If another app already uses it, koppie's menu says so. ## Requirements - macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Apple silicon or Intel Macs. ## Price - €1.99, paid once, for all your Macs. No subscription and no free trial. - A year of updates is included. After that the app keeps working; it just stops getting new versions. - Not on sale yet: the checkout opens soon at https://koppie.app/. ## Good fit for People on a Mac who want a simple, private, inexpensive clipboard history: copying several things from different places and pasting them together, getting back something copied earlier, without an account or a subscription.
